About StudentToolkit

Who runs StudentToolkit, why it was built, what the site does not do, and how each calculator formula is checked against AKTU's own ordinance text.

StudentToolkit is run by one person, Himanshu Tewari, based in India. It is a personal project, not a company.

Why this exists

Students comparing their SGPA or CGPA across different websites often get different numbers for the same marksheet. Some calculators use a generic Indian grading scale. Others convert CGPA to percentage with a formula that has nothing to do with the student’s own university. AKTU has its own grading scale and its own conversion rule, set out in its B.Tech ordinance. This site applies that formula directly and shows the working, so a student can check each step rather than trust a number that appears from nowhere. See the full set of AKTU tools and guides this applies to.

What this site is not

StudentToolkit is not affiliated with AKTU or with any other university. It is not run by AKTU and does not speak for AKTU. The calculators do not connect to AKTU’s result portal or any other results system. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent anywhere or stored. Each calculation happens in your browser and disappears when you close the page.

How the content is checked

Every formula on this site cites the ordinance clause it comes from, with a link to the official PDF on aktu.ac.in. Where an older and a newer version of a rule both circulate, both are shown, with a note on which one applies now. Each page carries a date showing when it was last checked against the source document. Ordinances get revised and clauses get renumbered, so a page that has not been checked recently should be treated with more caution than one checked last month.

Reporting an error

If a figure on this site does not match what your college or AKTU has told you, or if a linked PDF has moved, write to contact@studenttoolkit.in. Include the page you were on and what you expected to see. Corrections get made as soon as the ordinance text is checked.
