How to check your AKTU result on One View

One View is AKTU’s dedicated result portal, separate from the main erp.aktu.ac.in login. The form on the page is short and asks for one thing only.

1. Go to oneview.aktu.ac.in. AKTU’s own site links to it under student services, but it is safer to type the address directly than to search for it and click the first result.
2. Enter your University Roll Number in the Roll No field. The box only accepts digits and stops you at 13 characters, so an enrolment number or a roll number with letters in it will not go through.
3. The page runs an automatic check before it lets you continue. This happens without any action from you, but it can take a second or two.
4. Select Proceed. A result selection panel opens, listing the semesters or exams on record for that roll number.
5. Pick the entry you want. The screen that follows shows your SGPA for that semester and your CGPA to date.

If nothing comes back after you search, the most likely cause is a roll number typo, not a fault with the site. Recheck it against your admit card or marksheet.

Result timeline

AKTU does not declare every semester’s result on one date. Results come out programme by programme and year by year, based on when marks are uploaded and moderated, so a circular for one semester can appear weeks before or after another. The table below uses circulars from the Session 2025-26 cycle to show how a typical odd and even semester played out for B.Tech students, with each date linking to the circular that confirms it.

The pattern holds roughly: odd semester results land across a few days in February, even semester results trickle out from mid-June to mid-July, final year first. Treat these as a guide to how AKTU sequences its releases, not a fixed date for the next cycle. For the current session, check the circulars page for your own programme and semester, since it now updates automatically each morning with AKTU’s newest result notices.

What the result shows

Your result on One View gives your SGPA for the semester you selected and your CGPA calculated up to that point, following the formulas in clause 14.4 of the B.Tech Ordinance 2018-19 (Revised), in force since session 2018-19 and still the version AKTU links as of September 2026. Each subject is listed with the letter grade you scored, from A+ down to F.

A grade of F means a fail. Clause 14.2(a) states that a student graded F “shall be considered failed in that subject and will be required to reappear in the examination.” That subject becomes a carry-over paper, sat alongside a later end-semester exam under clause 11.

The full grade table, with the marks range behind each letter, is on our grading system page. AKTU’s result screen does not show your raw marks for each subject, only the grade and grade point, so that page is the closest reference we have for what a given grade means in percentage terms.

If you failed or want a recheck

Common problems

Roll number rejected or no result found. The One View search field only takes digits, up to 13 of them. If you type your enrolment number instead of your roll number, or include a letter or space, the search will not return anything. Check the number against your admit card.

Portal slow or unresponsive right after a result is declared. Each result circular can cover a large group of students across many colleges at once, for example the 17 July 2026 circular above, which named BTECH, BVOC, BDES, MBA-INT and Working Professional students together. Traffic on One View is heaviest in the first hour or two after a circular like that goes out. If a search does not load, wait a while before trying again rather than repeatedly refreshing.

Name or roll number wrong on the result. This needs correcting against your admission record, not just the result screen, so it has to go through AKTU directly. Raise it through the student grievance channel on the ERP portal rather than through your college alone.
