All three AKTU notices behind this page are scanned PDFs in Hindi, signed by Prof Deepak Nagariya, Controller of Examinations. We have read them and summarised what they say. Check the linked notices for the exact wording.
How AKTU sends your degree
AKTU’s notice of 29 Jul 2026 (Ref AKTU/P.Ni.Ka./2026/3109, in Hindi) says that for students who passed the final year in session 2025-26, the degree is sent by India Post Speed Post to the address the student gave, as in the previous year.
For the previous batch, session 2024-25, degrees were handed out at the 23rd convocation on 09 Sep 2025. After that, they went out by Speed Post to the address filled on ERP.
Update your address
In past years some degrees came back to the university because the permanent or current address was incomplete. So AKTU asked students to check the address on their profile.
- Log in to your Student ERP.
- Go to My Profile, then the Address tab.
- Enter the address where you want to receive the degree.
Institutes could also update addresses from their own ERP login, through the student data bank. The notice gave 02 Aug 2026 as the date for these updates, which has passed. If you missed it, contact your institute. We have not seen any other process in AKTU’s notices.
If your English name or your father’s name is wrong, the correction goes through your institute’s admission (nomination) section.
If your degree came back to the university
AKTU’s notice of 11 Feb 2026 (Ref 2026/2608, in Hindi) says some degrees sent by Speed Post could not be delivered and returned to the university. The notice attaches a list of those students. They can collect the degree from the university themselves, or their institute can collect it for them.
Download your degree from DigiLocker
AKTU’s notice of 17 Aug 2026 (Ref 2026/3172, in Hindi) says the university makes academic records such as degrees and marksheets available on DigiLocker through NAD from time to time. It attaches a flowchart, which we have turned into steps.

The flowchart also says to keep your mobile number linked with Aadhaar. DigiLocker is free. If your document is not available, the flowchart says to contact your university or institution.
Check that a DigiLocker document is genuine
Documents on DigiLocker are digitally signed and carry a QR code. You can verify one at verify.digilocker.gov.in.
What we could not confirm
- AKTU’s notices do not mention an online degree tracking page or Speed Post tracking numbers. In our own search we found no public degree delivery status tool, so ask your institute’s exam or admission section.
- The notices do not give a fee, a date for the 24th convocation, or a list of which batches are on DigiLocker, so we do not state any.

Questions students ask
How does AKTU send my degree?
By India Post Speed Post, to the address you gave on your ERP profile. AKTU's notice of 29 Jul 2026 says this is how degrees go to students who passed the final year in session 2025-26, as in the previous year.
Can I track my AKTU degree online?
We could not find a way. AKTU's notices do not mention an online degree tracking page or Speed Post tracking numbers, and we found no public degree delivery status tool. Ask the exam or admission section of your institute.
Where do I change the address for my degree?
In your Student ERP login, under My Profile and then the Address tab. Enter the address where you want to receive the degree. AKTU's 2026 notice gave 02 Aug 2026 as the date for these updates, so if you missed it, contact your institute.
My degree came back to the university. What now?
AKTU's notice of 11 Feb 2026 says students whose degrees could not be delivered can collect them from the university themselves, or the institute can collect them. Speak to your institute first.
How do I download my AKTU degree from DigiLocker?
Sign in at digilocker.gov.in with your Aadhaar number and OTP, open Issued Documents, search for your university by name, pick the document type, enter details such as roll number, year or session and registration number, and click Get Document. Then open it under Issued Documents and click Download. If the document is not there, contact your university or institute.
